Idee einer Heimat (Idea of a homeland)
“Heimat” (English “Homeland”) has become a stigmatized concept due to political and social events in Austria. In this work, however, I don’t want to address this very relevant side of the term, but rather resort to the personal, intimate meaning of the word.
The selected images represent the personal components that make up the meaning of homeland to me. These are persons, objects or places that change and evolve with time.
I had the opportunity to exhibit this work at a group show in the gallery Grossraum (AT).
